To make the race more exciting there are few changes given by FIA. Right from tires to engine there are changes which can bring excitement to racing. The change that I’m looking in 2009 is KERS.
KERS is an abbreviation for Kinetic Energy Recovery System. As the energy is getting wasted while breaking lead to degradation in performance of the car. KERS allows car to store the kinetic energy which get releases while breaking.
“The kinetic energy will be stored in a flywheel or an electrical battery and then made available to the driver, in set amounts per lap, via a ‘boost button’ on the steering wheel.” posted in www.formula1.com
