I'd rather be lucky than good

A prologue in a movie. How far it's important? it sets the pace of the movie.

The prologue Sometimes it's about the character and sometimes it's about the incident that happened before which lead to the current story.

There are times where the prologue is about the moral or theme of the story and one such prologue that caught my attention is from the movie 'Match Point'

It's about luck. The story depicts how luck plays a greater part of our life.

Here's the transcription of the prologue

The Man who said
' I'd rather be lucky than good'
Saw deeply into life

People are afraid to face how great
a  part of life is dependent on luck.

It's scary to think so much
is out of one's control.

There are moments in a match
when the ball hits the top of the net,
and for a split second
it can either go forward or fall back.

With little luck,
it goes forward and you win
or may be it doesn't, you lose.

Watch the video u may like it.
