Karaf.bat - the system cannot find the specified path error

OS  - WIndows 

Issue : When I tried starting the karaf.bat from command prompt ,it throws as error "The sytem cannot find the specified path error" 

Root cause:  The Windows environment variable JAVA_HOME is set incorrectly as "C:\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin"

Solution: The Windows environment variable JAVA_HOME needs to be corrected . It should be set as "C:\Java\jdk1.6.0" .
