I get knocked down

Songs the one companion which never let me down and helped me to get through my mood swings.

Some time I'll feel low and sometimes high , every time a song will be playing in my mind which suits my mood.

The one song which I listen whenever I fell in my life is 'Tubthumping - I get knocked down  ' by chumbawamba.

Those lyrics  are always a kind of boost to me. I used to sing it in my mind when something bad happens to me. It will make me to move on in my life.

The English songs were my stress buster. When I was lonely and couldn't express my anxiety and couldn't control my mood upswings,the English songs were my best companion. Still it is my best stress buster.

Rewind - Goldspot

I saw the How I met your mother ,episode 2(Blind date) of season5. It was pretty good. The song 'Asking you to stay' which comes in the episode is 'Rewind' by Goldspot.

Vinnai Thandi varuvaya music has created waves among music lovers.

I'm very much impressed with the trailer because of its awesome dialogues.

Hosanna became the national anthem for the youngsters.

The one thing I've liked in the lyrics is the inclusion of THIRUKURAL in Mannipaaya song sung by Rahman and Shreya Ghosal.

Naan Kaakinaada by Suchitra

Suchitra,a singer with amazing talent. In her early days as Radio Jockey, she had driven the Chennai city crazy. Recently the songs sung by her in kandasamy and Sindhanai Sei are setting the music world ablaze.

I’m a great fan of her and I always admire her confidence. She groomed her voice a lot and it transformed into some magical form which put me into a trance.

‘Nan Kaakinaada’ song from Sindhanai Sei again proved her talent that she’s the best singer of 2009 and numero uno.Her voice added the feel that the song requires. The song which was not in limelight initially is a beautiful beat by music director Thaman.

Listen to that song and you will agree with me that she's the most fascinating singer.


She's a great writer too. She wrote a book "The runaway peppercorn".

A musical horizon

After a while I’m very much interested in listening to the songs from a band apart from Coldplay. “Breakeven” is a song which swept my mind and I fell head over heels in love with this song.

“What I’m supposed to do when the best part of me is always you” an awesome lyrics which adored the song like a crown.

The contemporary band is none other then “The Script” with three men from Ireland who are driving the music world crazy.

The debut single “We cry” is made me to listen to the songs by the band “The Script” . The Debut album is “The Script” .

International music in FM radio of Mumbai:

 People from different parts of India are living in Mumbai. More people in Mumbai speak English and it becomes their main mode of communication language.

 As music is the main source of entertainment for most of the people, the FM radio broadcasters in Mumbai are doing great jobs over here.

 The good news is that they started playing English songs now apart from the Hindi songs.

 People who like classical English songs can tune into Radio city 91.1 MHz from 9 pm to 11 pm on weekdays. The RJ of the show Manish is an awesome choice made by Radio city and he is rocking the show every time.

 People who like contemporary music can tune into Radio1 94.3 MHz from 9 pm onwards during weekdays. In Saturdays, it will start from 8 am onwards and they will play until 9 pm. They declared Saturday as International Saturday and they will keep on playing songs of different genres.

 Morning, evening and night, yes thrice in a day you can listen to English songs in Rainbow FM 107.1 MHz.

 Tune into any one of them and just groom to the music they are playing.

Coldplay - A Music band with a difference

Caution:  I'm not a music critic …

Coldplay , Is this is the band that I was looking for ? .  Still I do not know the answer, but right now, they are the one. It is a British band. Their sounds are different and their words are making more sense.

 Their first album was "PARACHUTES". The song titled Yellow is my favorite song and to many other people as well.  The other song that I do like is TROUBLE.

Their second album was "A RUSH OF BLOOD TO MY HEAD". The Scientist and In My Place are my favorites and I will keep on listening to them.

Their third album was "X&Y". Songs like fix you, twisted logic and  square one are awesome numbers from coldplay.

You can groom with that music. The songs are getting better and better as I am  keep on listening to them everyday.
